VW Tiguan eHybrid 2021 MK2 how to remember your lane assist last settings how to disable lane assist

Lane assist gets always on after you start the car no matter if you have disabled it before. That literally drove me crazy. I drive on a very narrow country lanes and having lane assist is a major pain in the proverbial and almost caused me to crash several times. Local VW garage said they can do nothing because this is factory setting. A-holes. Long story short I bought obdeleven tool and here how to disable it: Go to "Driver Assistance" then "Long coding" find "Configuration_for_lane_departure_warning_Kl15" and change it to "Last_setting" This way when you turn off "Lane Assist" in the car menu the lane assist will stay off after you turn the engine off and on again. Hope that helps somebody.
