I showed my 80 year old mum my new skill and she and I sat together and knitted. She taught me id="hidden2" class="buttons"> how to cast off. It was the most special moment and I will treasure it forever. Thank you for sharing your video with the world. I've tried to get into knitting a couple times—got a bunch of yarn, learned and forgot finger knitting, tried loom knitting, all that. But none of the instructions I ever had made needle knitting sound easy. I got frustrated and never made it far past the slipknot. But this video is so anxiety-reducing and your voice is so soothing. I can tell that you made it a point to assuage people's worries about knitting for the first time, talking to provide a calming background noise, and I can't say that it didn't work for me!
