@s.p3538منذ 3 سنوات Honestly, I am not a Human Rights Lawyer. Given whatever Rastra says-which I second, why not do over the entire process? Even on the basis of the procedure id="hidden1" class="buttons"> and procedure alone, there are grounds to re-open the case and try it. Hopefully, fair and square. I saw a celebrity mentioning barking up the wrong tree- I honestly couldn't care less which side they are on. But, everyone barking up every damn tree and picking and choosing sides maybe let's not jump to conclusions. I mean stand for something but, sometimes it's better to not sheepishly follow someone and maybe, just look at the facts and evidence! Especially, in a criminal case.
Also, blaming and shaming people who aren't the perpetrators and just happen to possibly have any relationship with the accused doesn't make any of us a better person. It's like punishing a child for their parent's sin. And as far as people defending the accused is concerned well, maybe they need to reassess their stance as well-but whether they'll is up to them. The public also needs to stop putting celebrities on a pedestal. They're not subject-matter experts, are they? No matter who says what, justice needs to be served and that will only happen if the procedure is fair. The bottom line is no one should be above the law, that's what the Rule of Law means.
Those girls need closure at the very least, for God's sake they lost their mother. There are avenues to do so. So, if any lawyer wants to work on this together, I'm game.
But, man as a lawyer I have very little faith in the Nepali legal system! Not that other systems are any better but, it's pretty much a lost cause in Nepal as is the case with most poor countries. One of the many reasons why most good people get jaded and leave. ....وسعت 145
