The UN secretary general, António Guterres, has said scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world's hottest month on record. Subscribe to Guardian News on YouTube ► http://bit.ly/guardianwiressub Guterres warned 'the era of global warming has ended, the era of global boiling has arrived' after recent global temperatures shattered records. The steady rise in global average temperatures, driven by pollution that traps sunlight and acts like a greenhouse around the Earth, has made weather extremes worse. @fernandogomesdacosta6514قبل 10 أشهر I know this guy. He was socialist prime minister from Portugal between 1995 and 2002 and has done nothing but complaining. He abandoned the government id="hidden1" class="buttons"> because the country became (in his own words!) a swamp. I even had two work meetings with him as member of telemedicine task force, and he knew nothing, and was already a very confused man. So, this ridiculous speech is just more of the same. ....وسعت 46

@alanburton3996قبل 10 أشهر The highest officially recorded temperature in the world is 56.7 °C (134 °F), which occurred on 10 July 1913 in Furnace Creek, California, USA. Other continents also have some really hot places: 55.0 °C in Africa (Tunisia), 53–54 °C in Asia (Israel, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Pakistan; some of the values are disputed), 50.7 °C in Oceania (Australia), and 48.9 °C in South America (Argentina). In comparison, the climate in Europe is fairly mild. The highest temperature was recorded in Athens, Greece, on 10 July 1977, with a measly 48.0 °C. Seeing how far back in time these temperatures go, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary. Athens in 1977 hit 119 f. ....وسعت 75

@OldScientistقبل 10 أشهر He hasn't read his own report. The UN's IPCC AR6, chapter 12 "Climate Change Information for Regional Impact and for Risk Assessment", id="hidden9" class="buttons"> section 12.5.2, table 12.12 confirms there is a lack of evidence or no signal that the following have changed:
Air Pollution Weather (temperature inversions), Aridity,
    Avalanche (snow),
    Average precipitation,
    Average Wind Speed,
    Coastal Flood,
    Agricultural drought,
    Hydrological drought,
    Erosion of Coastlines,
    Fire Weather (hot and windy),
Flooding From Heavy Rain (pluvial floods),
    Frost,
    Hail,
    Heavy Rain,
    Heavy Snowfall and Ice Storms,
    Landslides,
    Marine Heatwaves,
    Ocean Acidity,
    Radiation at the Earth’s Surface,
    River/Lake Floods,
    Sand and Dust Storms,
    Sea Level,
    Severe Wind Storms,
Snow, Glacier, and Ice Sheets, Tropical Cyclones.
There is no objective observational evidence that we are living through a global climate crisis. None.

@bigwickcryptoقبل 8 أشهر The UN IPCC metric is A 2C rise in Annual Average Global temperature with a doubling of atmospheric CO2 by the year 2100 (from 400ppm to 800ppm) however id="hidden14" class="buttons"> we are now almost a quarter of the way to 2100 and if CO2 is to double it should be 500ppm by now after all, we have had the rise of the Chinese economy in that time.
    .but it's 414ppm.
Extrapolating forward from here in the year 2100 CO2 will be about 460ppm that's IF we get another Chinese sized economy in each of the next three quarters of this century.

    @hermankarsowidjojo6771قبل 8 أشهر GOODDAY EVERYONE,
**You Can Achieve a lot with simple Measures.
If the Water Supply Companies in all Tropical Countries are recommended id="hidden15" class="buttons"> or required to distribute cooler Water to Consumers from now on, for example 15 °C. The pipe network will automatically become cooler and therefore The Environment. As a second measure, large buildings, roads and squares could be automatically sprayed 3 times a day from 11 a.m. with the same water at 15 °C. (Without hindering Aesthetics and the Safety of the City)
Even the water of Egypt's great Artificial River could be kept at 15°C.
    Sincerely YOURS,
    LUV YOU !
