Kenyan President William Ruto lauds South Sudan's government

Kenya President William Ruto lauded the decision by the Government of South Sudan to open its borders to provide asylum, safe passage and protection to people fleeing the conflict in Sudan. On Saturday Ruto hosted his South Sudan counterpart, Salva Kiir, at State House, Nairobi, for bilateral talks. The talks are centred around infrastructure projects and peace in the region. President Ruto said Kenya and South Sudan have also agreed to exploit the Africa Continental Free Trade Area Agreement to increase trade between the two nations.
