Punjabi Mutton Masala is a dhaba style mutton masala recipe and is a very delicious & aromatic preparation made using mutton and various ingredients, it's a must try recipe
METHOD
1.First we need to marinate mutton pieces, so take
Mutton - 1/2 kilo cut into medium sized pieces
To this add
Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
Lemon juice of one medium sized
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - as required
Yogurt - 4 tablespoon
Mix these ingredients and marinate for 30 minutes
2. For Masala paste we need
Oil - 1 teaspoon, heat it
To this add
Onion - 2 medium sized diced
Green chilies chopped - 2
Ginger pieces - 7 small
Tomatoes - 2 medium sized
Saute them and grind to a fine paste
3. In another pan heat clarified butter - 2 to 3 tablespoon
To it add
Cloves - 4
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon sticks - 3
Black peppercorns - 1/2 teaspoon
To it add the marinated mutton and roast well for 5 to 8 minutes
4. Now add the ground paste and saute for 5 minutes
Add water - 1/2 cup, few coriander leaves and cook till mutton get's tender
5.Serve hot with Naan, roti or parota
