Arthur Trotter was a Forest of Dean engineer who built a small steam roller in 1933 from an assortment of parts, a traditional 'Bitza'. On his death, it passed to the Gloucester Folk Museum. It was steamed in public on occasions in the 1990s but for many years it has been in store there. Now it has been put in the care of Jez Kirkwood who has restored it to working order. It made its first recent public appearance in steam at the Speech House Vintage Show on 10th September 2017. This is an edited hand held clip recorded on my still camera.
